CryoPort Inc. Begins Shipping Samples for DuPont Crop Protection

Shipment Represents New Market for the CryoPort Express(TM) Shipper

LAKE FOREST, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/02/08 -- CryoPort, Inc. (OTCBB: CYRX) today announced that it has begun a program to ship frozen samples from the U.S. to India for DuPont Crop Protection.

The program will utilize the CryoPort Express(TM) Shipper to reduce the risk of loss associated with shipping high value materials in challenging environmental and logistical situations. Federal Express will handle shipping and logistics for the program.

Peter Berry, CEO of CryoPort, commented, "This program reinforces the value of using the CryoPort Express(TM) shipper as an alternative to dry ice. The value of the CryoPort Express(TM) Shipper was immediately proven when the initial shipment was delayed for several days upon reaching India because of a local holiday. With the extended holding time of the shipper, the shipment still arrived frozen and intact."

Mr. Berry continued, "The overall response to the CryoPort Express(TM) Shipper continues to gain strength in our various target markets. The addition of DuPont as a customer opens up a surprising new niche market for our shipping system. We continue to pursue opportunities on a global basis and are making progress in opening those markets. Our negotiations continue to be ongoing with a number of large companies."
