CryoPort Ships Research Materials for Emory University

LAKE FOREST, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/05/08 -- CryoPort, Inc. (OTCBB: CYRX) today announced it has started a program to ship research materials from the United States to international destinations for the Emory University School of Medicine.

The first phase involved shipping the CryoPort Express(TM) System from the Emory facility in Atlanta to Canada. The program is expected to expand to locations in Asia in early 2009.

Peter Berry, CEO of CryoPort, commented, "Successfully shipping high value biomaterials for major institutions in the research community such as Emory reinforces the diverse applications of the CryoPort Express business model and provides further confirmation of the risk mitigation element of the system when compared to dry ice. Eliminating the need to source and pack the dry ice was also a key factor in the decision by Emory to utilize our service."
